Annette Dickerson Doyle was born on January 1, 1937, in Swainsboro, Georgia. The Lord called her home on February 21, 2023, after an acute illness.
The daughter of the late Wylynn (Dickerson) Mack, Annette was raised by her maternal grandparents Eliza "Mama Liza" and John "Pa John" Williams, along with the Williams children: Pearl L., Lonza, Rosie Mae, Carrie Mae, Mamie L., Wallace, Johnnie B, James, Jimmie, Roosevelt, Alberta, Edna, John A., Neal J., Ada Bell, and Emma. Annette resided in and attended school for a short time in Detroit, Michigan as well as locally graduating from Emanuel County High.
After graduation she started her family, working many jobs until eventually attending Swainsboro Technical School's nursing program and becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. Annette was a compassionate spirit whose passion and desire to care for others were fulfilled through her work in the healthcare profession. She was employed with various companies and held various positions as a nurse until her retirement.
Known affectionately as "G-Mama" to her grandchildren and "Miss Annette" to countless others, she is survived by four children, Angelo Glenn Doyle of Atlanta, Georgia, Marcella Maria Doyle of Swainsboro, Georgia, Alesia Faye Wright of Hinesville, Georgia, and Christopher Shawn Doyle of Mililani, Hawaii; four sisters: Arvida Harris, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Lou Ann Mack, Sarah Ann Mack, and Callie Jean Mack of Stillmore, Georgia; and one brother: James Mack, Jr. of Trenton, New Jersey; her extended family of the late John Williams of Stillmore, Georgia; six grandchildren: Shana Doyle, Latonia C. Wright, Achino West, Steven Doyle, Onaje K. Doyle and Fredderick Wright; one great-grandchild, Zykhari Wright; she also leaves several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to cherish her memories.
As we lay our beloved mother and sister to rest, we thank God for her life and we ask you to continue praying and shower blessings upon her family and friends.
