Antony “Tony” Fitzgerald Lawrence was born to Leola Myra Joyner and Rosie Lawrence on January 10, 1966, in Swainsboro, Ga. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, as a young man and served God faithfully in several capacities over the years. He was a worshipper, a musician, and a minister. A great man of faith, he lived a joy filled life overcoming health challenges that defied all odds. An awesome athlete, Tony excelled in football and basketball, and later became a coach for recreation sports. He was also an IT expert, with a Master’s in Information Technology. Loved by many, he gained the endearing nickname, “Brother Fellowship,” from his wife. Tony forged friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Tony’s sweet mama, Leola Myra, preceded him in heaven. He leaves to cherish his precious memory: his devoted wife, Emilia Williams Lawrence; his father, Rosie (Princess) Lawrence; two daughters, Jocelynn and Samarrah Willliams; one sister Pamela Lawrence Flanders; two brothers Michael (Ryan) Lawrence and Christopher S. Lawrence; and many adoring cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends.
