Mr. Elzie Clark, was born on January 9, 1952 in Swainsboro, Ga to the late Mr. Willie and Mrs. Vinnie Mae Clark. He accepted Christ at his personal Lord and risen Savior at an early age and maintained his spiritual growth with memberships at High Point Christian Tabernacle in Smyrna, Ga and served well until his health failed at which time he fellowshipped with Green Pastures Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia.
His formative educational years were spent in the Emanuel County Public School System, graduating with the class of 1969. In his young adulthood, God sent him his life-long spouse of over 50 years, Annie Pearl. No children were born to this union, yet God saw fit to send them a special goddaughter, Amanda Steele.
Elzie retired from Ford Motor Company in Atlanta, Georgia. His employment was in keeping with his love for cars. Always the go-getter and hard-worker, Elzie worked tirelessly to provide an excellent and comfortable living for his family.
