Obituary for Helen Edmond
Mrs. Helen Nelson Edmond was born on February 19, 1955 to the late Mr. Lige Pierce, Jr. and the late Ms. Madell Mack in Emanuel County, Georgia. She departed this life on Saturday, July 23, 2016 after a brief illness.
At an early age, she joined the St. James AME Church in Twin City, Georgia. She worked at Kongsberg Automotive fifteen years. Helen was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Bobby Edmond on February 5, 1972.
She leaves a legacy of memories behind to her two children whom she loved dearly: Ms. Shenika Edmond and Mr. David Edmond, both of Twin City, Georgia; six grandchildren: Shamya, Davon, and Marquise Edmond, all of Augusta, Georgia, LeShawn Parrish and Jalaysia Walker, both of Twin City, Georgia and Isaac Edmond of Collins, Georgia; one stepson, Mr. Lee Edmond of Swainsboro, Georgia; a special cousin, Ms. Suzelta Mack of Twin City, Georgia; three sisters: Ms. Sallie Mack of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Mrs. Carrie (Leroy) Milton and Ms. Tyronda Mack, both of Twin City, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Daniel Nelson of Millen, Georgia and Mr. Sylvester Mack of Swainsboro, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Laura Harris; a special niece, Ms. Catrice Mack; three aunts: Mrs. Isabell Daniels of Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Nancy Culbreth of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Mrs. Oma L. Mack of Twin City, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
