Ms. Lois Croft Dekle was born December 24, 1941 in Garfield (Twin City), Georgia to the late Mr. Roosevelt Dekle and the late Mrs. Lula Croft Dekle. She attended the public schools of Candler County, specifically Lillian Street High School in Metter.
Upon reaching adulthood, Lois relocated to Miami, Florida. She accepted Christ into her life and joined Macedonia Baptist Church in Miami, Florida. During her working life, Lois worked for several years with Miami Dry Cleaners. In later years, she became employed with the Board of Education as a Food Service Aide at the primary school level.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Jimmy Dekle and Earl Dekle; and two sisters: Maggie Dekle and Fannie Mae Dekle.
Ms. Lois Croft Dekle passed into eternal rest on June 28, 2024. She leaves the following loved ones behind to cherish many fond memories: her children: Mr. Walter Dekle of West Virginia, Ms. Sharon Dekle, Mr. Glenn Green and Ms. Donna Green, all of Miami, Florida; her siblings: Mrs. Lulawease Tyler of Metter, Georgia, Mrs. Rhoda Wadley (Paul) of Swainsboro, Georgia, Mr. Joe Dekle of Miami Florida, Mr. Robert Dekle of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Grace Joiner (Joe) and Mr. Jack Dekle, both of Metter, Georgia, Mr. Roosevelt Dekle (Marilyn), Larry Dekle, and Mrs. Anna Marie Spratling (Earl), all of Miami, Florida; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
