Obituary for Pastor Barbara Tillman
Pastor Barbara Tillman departed this life peacefully on July 30, 2020 at the age of seventy-six. She was born on January 29, 1944 to the late Mr. Jay C. Pullens and the late Mrs. Lurie Lee Pullens. She attended school in Emanuel county and moved to Florida as a young girl. At the early age of eighteen, she found the Lord and was a very devout Christian. She preached and evangelized nationally and internationally. Barbara was the Pastor, Founder, and Overseer of Full Deliverance Church of Jesus in Swainsboro for many, many years, until her health failed.
Pastor Barbara Tillman was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Betty Cain, Christine Bell, Helen Williams, and Brenda Stewart and two brothers: Leroy Pullens and Bonnie Marvin Pullens.
Pastor Tillman leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memory: her husband, Mr. Randy Tillman; six sisters: Ms. Wynie King, Ms. Phyllis Strobridge, Ms. Diane Pullens, and Ms. Denise Pullens, all of Swainsboro, Georgia, Ms. Geraldine Turner of Marietta, Georgia and Ms. Anna Coney of Sandersville, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. J.C. Pullens and Mr. Charles Pullens, both of Swainsboro, Georgia; several Goddaughters: Mrs. Angela Freeman Walker of Orlando, Florida, Evangelist Jennifer Rackins of Waynesboro, Georgia, Dr. Dorothy Brown of Thomasville, Georgia, Ms. Lurinda Wilcher of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Ms. Veronica Reid of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Pastor Tillman loved, touched, inspired, encouraged and planted seeds in many during her walk with the Lord.
