Obituary for Ralph Eason

Dea. Ralph Eason was born in Glennville, GA on May 12, 1949 to the late Mr. Shilo Sr. and the late Mrs. Ida Mae Eason. He departed his life on December 8, 2020. Dea. Ralph graduated in 1970 from the Tattnall County High School in Reidsville, Georgia. Later, he begin a career in trucking and working with equipment with the Tatum Brothers.

Ralph's heart was won over by a childhood sweetheart, Miss Eunice Fair. They were married into Holy Matrimony on May 22, 1976. Ralph and Eunice lovingly parented five children. Becoming an active member of the First African Missionary Baptist Church of Glennville, GA, he was led into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior under the leadership of Rev. E.J Junior. As a trustee, Bro. Ralph was placed over his deceased Uncle Lemuel Eason's ward in 1991 and later ordained as deacon in 2009 under Pastor Clarence Boles’ leadership.

Over the years, Dea. Ralph's faith and commitment grew along with each position or task received. His commitment to his family, his church
and community all represented who he was as a believer in Christ.
In his journey with illness, Dea. Ralph found favor with God through prayer warriors around the nation who interceded for him until God chose to carry him home. His daughter, Joy Eason Herald and two brothers, Jerome Eason and Johnny Lee Eason, preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and wonderful wife, Mrs. Eunice Eason of Glennville, GA; one son, Mr. Tyrone (Doris) Fair of Statesboro, GA; three daughters, Ms. Sheila Fillmore, Ms. Anita Eason, and Ms. Teira Eason, all of Glennville, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae (Jimmy) Ford of Glennville, GA, Mrs. Annette (Johnny) Smith of East Dublin, GA, and Mrs. LoNease (Phillip) Davis of Winter Haven, FL; four brothers, Mr. Shilo (Mary) Eason Jr. of Altamonte Springs, FL, Mr. Hercules (Shirley) Eason of Sanford, FL, Mr. Eugene (LuVenya) Eason, and Mr. Calvin Eason of Glennville, GA; one living aunt, Ms. Marie Young of Rochester, NY; his grandchildren: Shameria Smiley, Tyrone Fair Jr., Malik Fair, Rodney Brazell, Kenya Williams, Ladasha (Dallas) Montgomery, Javon Sallie, Desiree Sallie, Taniya Edwards, Sanaa
