Obituary for Terrance Jamar Mattox
Terrance Jamar Mattox was born on May 16, 1981 to the late Harry Mattox and Patricia Williams. Terrance was educated in the Evans County School System and graduated from Claxton High School in 2000. To many in the community, he was known as "Tek". He was a mentor to many young men that would come up to him needing someone to talk to. Talking to them about life, making wise decisions, and how to be that example of a man.
He attended the Power Pak Outreach Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Linda Roberts where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Terrance went into eternal rest on June 27, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father Harry Mattox, his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Mattox Carter and his maternal grandmother Willie Mae Williams.
He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted mother, Patricia Williams, his son, Malachi Blanks and daughter Jazara Smith. Brothers: Gregory Williams (Tay) of Washington, DC, Charles Mattox, Keith Mattox, Taveris Stewart, Marquic Stewart, all of Claxton, Ga. Sisters: Letreba Mattox Green (Keith), Tamiya Williams, Kalandria Mattox (Tony) and Marquita Smith all of Claxton, Ga.
Honorary brothers: Antwan Brewton (Sharonda), Evan Watson (Amanda). Honorary sisters: Tara Williams (Rodney), Chasity Williams, and Kimberly James (Lorenzo). A life partner Jaquanna Smith and special friend Linda Berry. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
