Ms. Barbara Ruth Dekle was born November 17, 1954 to the late Mr. Roger and Mrs. Arethia Mae Dekle. She was raised in Metter, Georgia and was a 1972 graduate of Metter High School. She also received her nursing degree from Swainsboro Technical College, Swainsboro Georgia in 1980. She transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was a former employee of Pleasant View Nursing Center and Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Center, both in Metter, Georgia for more than 30 years. She was a devoted and caring Licensed Practical Nurse. Her services continued on in the community, even after retirement. She enjoyed helping others, especially her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Dekle, and her mother, Arethia Mae Dekle. Barbara leaves to cherish many loving and fond memories: her only child, Mrs. Tyne Dekle Love (Jeffery Sr.); her significant other, Mr. Ulysees Smith; eight siblings: Ms. Rogi Ann Dekle, Mr. Tony Dekle (Alfreida), Ms. Lila Hall, Mrs. Cheryl Lanier (Marvin); Mr. John Stacy Dekle, Mrs. Phyllis Eason (Ben), Ms. Yolanda Scott and Mr. Aldric Dekle; three grandchildren that adored her: Mr. Jeffery Love, Jr. (Diamond), Ms. Iyannah Love and Michael Angelo Love; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
