Ms. Bernestine Bethea was born on November 18, 1958 to Mr. Levern Bethea and Ms. Allene Roberson in Emanuel County, Georgia. She departed the life on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. She was a graduate of Emanuel County Institute in Twin City, Georgia. She joined Stillmore Deliverance Center and served faithfully and actively until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lamar Schubert Childs. Ms. Bernestine Bethea leaves to cherish many special memories: two sons: Mr. Daon (Cissy) Bethea and Mr. Corey (Natasha) Allen; three daughters: Mrs. Shnara (Jessie) Williams, Ms. Kotara Allen and Ms. Tiffany Bethea; her loving mother, Mrs. Allene Roberson; two brothers: Mr. Calvin Bethea and Mr. Stevie (Stephanie) Roberson; a special cousin, Mrs. Doris Phillips; grandchildren: Octavious Jones, Jamoni Kelly, Shala Allen, Chase Johnson, Kobi Allen, Jadah Smith, Khristian Smith, Jordan Bethea, Dayla Bethea, Daon Bethea, Jr., Torri Allen, and Lauri Allen; one great-grandson, Karter Ripley Jones; two sisters-in-law: Ms. Marilyn "Kitty" Lewis and Ms. Percynthia Bethea; two special friends: Ms. Dedra Durden and Ms. Charlene Drummer; and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
