Catherine was born July 17, 1950 to Ben and Jeanette Singleton in Lyons, Georgia. She was a beautiful person both inside and out, always willing to help anyone and a true lover of life. The Lord called Catherine home on March 13, 2017. She leaves precious and unforgettable memories that will live in the hearts of those who loved her. She will truly be missed. On April 26, 1970, Catherine married the love of her life, Jerry Edward Gibson, Sr. From this union of 46 years, four children: Felicia Gibson of Jacksonville, Florida, Patrick Gibson (LaTwyla), Jerry Gibson, Jr. (Makeler), and Dana Gibson, all of Metter, GA; five precious gems: Ashley Ford, Kyla Gibson, Kennedi Gibson, Ashton Gibson and Jerry Gibson, III; she leaves nine siblings: Shirley Edwards (Weston) of Miami, FL, Carolyn Singleton, Virginia Davis, Reda Moran (Johnny), Henry (Al) Singleton, and Ben Singleton, Jr., all of Lyons, Georgia, Tonya King (David) of Vidalia, GA, Maxine Green (Bobby) of Jacksonville, FL, and Loretta Nelson on Chicago, IL; in-laws: Deborah Brown (James), Carolyn Gibson, Janice Grant (Keith), Irene Dixon (Deloan), Wanda Smith (Stanley), Dwight Gibson, Larry Gibson (Arlene), all of Metter, GA, Inez Porter (Tony) of Flushing, NY, Raymond Gibson (Valerie) of Cobbtown, GA, James Gibson (Alfreda) of Twin City, Georgia, Charlie Robinson of Bowling Green, FL, Juan Gibson (Johnnie) and Wendell Gibson (Jeanette) of Statesboro, GA, and Jerome Gibson (Shirley) of North Augusta, SC, a Goddaughter, Kiana Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
