Obituary

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 Curtis Abraham Seay was born October 15, 1948 to the late Jesse Seay and Charlie Mae Jones Seay in Bulloch County Georgia. He passed into eternal rest Tuesday, January 10, 2017. He joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Manassas, Georgia at an early age. Later when he moved to Claxton, he joined First African Baptist and after he became ill and moved to Dublin he untied with Jordan Redeemer House of Deliverance in Dublin, Georgia. Curtis was a graduate of Tattnall County Industrial High School. Upon graduation, Pvt. Seay enlisted in the United States Marine Corp February 16, 1972 and received an honorable discharge February 15, 1978. During his tenure, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for Outstanding Service. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Seay and Charlie Mae Jones Seay, two sisters, Eloise Seay Allen and Minni Lee Seay Richardson Ariola. He leaves to mourn his passing, two brothers: Jessie Seay Jr. (Anna) of Boynton Beach, Florida, Rev. Talmadge Seay (Ella) of Manassas, Georgia; three sisters: Rosie Lee Seay Smith of Miami, Florida, Willie Mae Seay Woods and Martha Elizabeth Seay Wilkerson both of Claxton, Georgia. Three aunts: Bertha Whigham, Arizonna Carter, and Rose Whigham; a special friend Jackie Bridges, Dublin, Georgia; a very special niece Chambreail Wilkerson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
