Mr. David Lee Hampton was born on January 17, 1943, in Claxton, Georgia to the late Mr. Eugene Hampton and the late Ms. Vandella Timmons. Alongside his siblings, David was raised in Claxton, Georgia, and attended the Evans County School System.He had many jobs over the years in Claxton and afar, and was well known for his humor, joking nature, and his ever-present smile. David never met a stranger. David was baptized at St. John Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and later ordained as a deacon, serving faithfully for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Hampton and Vandella Timmons; a daughter, Cathy Rogers; and a brother, Sylvester Timmons. Mr. David Hampton entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2023. He leaves the following loved ones to cherish precious memories: his wife: Mrs. Cynthia M. Brown-Hampton; three daughters: Mrs. Della Lee Hampton (Chris) Brown, Ms. Renata Hampton and Ms. Tangela Hampton; two sons: Mr. Deontra Hampton and Mr. Timothy Hampton; siblings, Mrs. Ida Timmons-McClennon, Mrs. Della Lee Timmons-Byrd, Mr. Danny Jones and Ms. Ollie Mae Timmons; and a host of other relatives and friends.
