Rev. David Eugene Young was born on October 22, 1949, in Tattnall County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Jessie and Jessie Mae Young. He departed this life on Friday, July 10, 2020 at home, with his family. At an early age he joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for 26 years for the Georgia Department of Corrections. He was proceeded in death by three siblings, Martha Holiday, Henrietta White, and Robert L. Young. Rev. David E, Young leaves the following love ones behind to cherish his memories. Three devoted sons: David Mack Young, Miami, Fl.,Christopher L. (Tamela) Young, Danville, VA., Robert E. (Ebony) Young, Jonesboro, Ga, Seven grand children and one great grand. Four sisters: Mrs. Irene Y. Burney; Mrs. Willie (Kenny) Bacon, Hagan, Ga., Ms. Catheline Young, Claxton, Ga., and Mrs. Cynthia Collins (Leon), Columbus, Ga.,One brother: Mr. Timmy L. Young, Collins, Ga. Two aunts: Ms. Hattie Mosley, West Palm Beach, FL and Ms. Marie Young, Rochester, N.Y. and a host of caring nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
