Sis. Delores Douse Davis, age 79, transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on June 18, 2022. Delores was born on January 7, 1943 to the late Mr. Don Albert and Mrs. Lillie Mae Douse. She was educated in the Evans county school system. Delores was employed by Claxton Nursing Home for many years in the kitchen in food service. During her illness, she was a resident of Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother: Gadis Douse; three sisters: Betty Coleman, Lutitia Woody, and Geraldine Bacon; and two grandchildren: Erika Davis and Demetrius Jones. Sis. Delores Davis is survived by three devoted daughters: Mrs. Sonya White and Mrs. Angela (Willis) Curry, both Jacksonville, Florida and Mrs. Latrina (Jewel) Mills of Claxton, Georgia; three sisters: Mrs. Earlene Mincey and Mrs. Mildred Standing, both of Miami, Florida and Mrs. Jackie Blocker of Claxton, Georgia; four grandsons, one granddaughter, fifteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
