Effie H. Culmer, 90, retired social worker, Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services (HRS), died peacefully at home on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Survivors include her husband, Cameron Culmer; daughter, Gwendolyn Bryant (Claxton HS graduate); son, Donald Williams; sisters, Clara Roundtree (Edward), Edwina Averett (Sammie); nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing 5-8pm., Friday in the chapel. Service 2:00pm., Saturday at New Birth Baptist Church. In keeping with her wishes, final rites and burial at Harper's Funeral Home, Claxton Georgia
