Mrs. Greta Rhynes Morrison was born on December 24, 1931 in Jasper county, South Carolina to the late Mr. Felix and Mrs. Lillie Mae Rhynes. They later returned to live in Manassas, Georgia. She attended Manassas Elementary School for her public school education and Mount Mariah Missionary Baptist Church for her spiritual education, where she was a member at an early age. She was formerly married to Mr. Lawrence Morrison of Midway, Georgia, now deceased. Mrs. Gretta Morrison leaves to mourn her passing, her immediate family: two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis (Richard) Gilbert of Roxbury, MA; and Ms. Patricia Morrison of Fayetteville, NC; twin granddaughters: Ms. Lillian and Ms. Felicia Morrison of SC; two sisters: Ms. Idella Roberts of Jacksonville, FL, and Ms. Rose Mack of Savannah, GA; two brothers: Mr. Richard Rhynes and Mr. Ralph (Mary) Rhynes, both of Collins, GA.; several loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends, and acquaintances from near and far.
