Obituary

Mrs. Jacqulyn Mason Byrd was born in Patterson, New Jersey on June 20, 1955 to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Mason. Affectionately known as "Jackie", she moved to Trenton, New Jersey at an early age and received her education in the New Jersey school system. After graduating from high school, she married Larry Charles Byrd. To this union, three sons were born: Larry, Jr., Brian, and Darryl. In 1987, Larry, Sr., Jackie and their sons moved to Georgia, where Jackie attended The First Church of Christ under the leadership of Bishop George Lee. Jackie was a virtuous woman, well-respected among others, and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Charles Byrd, Sr. Jackie was called to eternal rest on Saturday, January 7, 2023. She leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memory: her sons: Mr. Larry Charles Byrd, Jr. and Mr. Brian Byrd, both of Stillmore, Georgia and Mr. Darryl (Harion) Byrd of Swainsboro, Georgia; three brothers-in-law: Mr. Willie Byrd of Trenton, New Jersey, Mr. James Byrd of August, Georgia and Mr. Lester Byrd of Stillmore, Georgia; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Alfreda Gibson of Twin City, Georgia and Mrs. Doris (Ralph) Phillips of Stillmore, Georgia; a special friend, Sister Vilue Gordon; and a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
