Jeffery Williams was born to the late Willie Mae Williams and the late Otis Collins on October 27. 1960. He attended Historic Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at an early age. He worked at Claxton Fruit Cake for several years. He also found enjoyment in being a DJ and barbecuing for the community.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: James Williams and Johnnie Williams.
On September 11, 2021, God reached out his hand and called him home. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Minnie Williams of Reidsville, Georgia; four loving daughters: Memie Griffin (Phillip) of Claxton, Georgia, Patricia Battle of Reidsville, Georgia, LaJasma Williams-Kinard (Jamel) and Nichelle Williams (Timothy), both of Statesboro, Georgia; three loving sons: Kenny Battle of Vidalia, Georgia; Jacob Griffin (Beitha) of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Jeffery Williams, Jr. of Suffolk, Virginia; three sisters: Rosa Byrd (Kevin) of Reidsville, Georgia, Patricia Williams of Claxton, Georgia and Tammy Badger (Rodney) of HInesville, Georgia; two sisters-in-law: Gwen Williams and Ella Williams; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
