Mr. John Andrew Newton was born on August 4, 1970 to the late Mrs. Mary Bowman Newman and the late Mr. Carlton Andrew Newton, Jr. He departed this life on March12, 2021. John received his education in the Candler and Jenkins County school systems. Although he held various jobs, he worked in the farming industry most of his life. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Newton; his father, Carlton Andrew Newton; his brother, William Henry Waters; his wife, Jacquelyn Voncile Newton, and his paternal and maternal grandparents, eleven uncles and four aunts. Mr. John Newton leaves the following loved ones behind to cherish many fond memories: four sons: Mr. Marquis Antonio Jenkins, Mr. Quentin Johntavious Newton, Mr. Darell Chase (India) Sheffield, and Mr. John Andrew Newton, Jr.; two brothers: Mr. Johnny Lee Ellison of Savannah, Georgia and Mr. Wanzer Lee (Cheryl) Newton of Metter, Georgia; two sisters: Ms. Nettie Ruth Newton of Statesboro, Georgia and Ms. Ammie Lee Newton of Metter, Georgia; six aunts: Ms. Delores Morgan, Ms. Beatrice Davis, Ms. Daisy Pearl Hunter, Ms. Martha Jordan, Ms. Vinnie Fields, and Ms. Christine Robinson; two uncles: Mr. Ervin Robinson and Mr. Larry Robinson; a special cousin, Mr. Robbie Lovett; nine grandchildren, and a host of loving and caring great-aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
