On Sunday, December 22, 2024, Mr. Joseph Johnson, Jr., departed this life following a short illness. He was born in Candler County on December 22, 1968, to the late Mr. Joseph Sr. and Mrs. Mary Walton Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a native of Emanuel County and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida. He was employed as a landscaper for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and several siblings. He leaves the following loved ones: one sister, Ms. Martha Johnson of McDonough, Georgia; three brothers: Mr. Willie Johnson (Serrina) of Nunez, Georgia, Mr. Raymond Hooks (Carroll), and Mr. Paul Johnson, both of Swainsboro, Georgia; one uncle, Mr. Henry Johnson of Miami, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
