With heavy hearts, we announce the death of our beloved Kiara Jane Truss, who left this world on November 3, 2024, in Claxton, Georgia. Born on August 23, 1981 in Easton, Pennsylvania, Kiara was a beacon of love, generosity, and selflessness. She was a true light in the light of all who knew her - a giver at heart, whose kindness knew no bounds. Kiara moved to Georgia in 1991. She later earned her GED and pursued her passions, obtaining her cosmetology license and becoming a certified nursing assistant. Her dedication to service extended into her work at Food Fresh in Claxton, where she served as an Assistant Manager, always assisting those around her with her warmth and compassion. Kiara was deeply cherished and will be profoundly missed by her mother, Darlene Harrison; her two sons, KaVonn Truss and Izayah Grainda; her brother, Matthew Grainda; and her many nieces and nephews. She is now reunited in peace with her beloved daughter, KaBrionn Truss, and her father, Robert Truss. Kiara's love and presence extended across states, touching the hearts of family and friends in Georgia, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Florida. A celebration of Kiara's life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at Claxton First Church, 401 S. Main Street, Claxton, Georgia. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her beautiful spirit and the lasting impact she made on this world. Though she is no longer with us in body, Kiara's love, kindness, and unwavering generosity will forever live on in our hearts.
