Mrs. Loretta Lee Weller departed this life on March 14, 2021. She born on February 18, 1942 in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late Rev. Joseph D. Lee and the late Mrs. Creama Bell Lee. Loretta was a member of the Greater Saint James Missionary Baptist Church. Loretta attended high school in Swainsboro and after graduating, she worked various jobs. Later, she lived in Brooklyn, New York, where she worked many years at a well known retail store. She then attended cosmetology school in New York and received her license. Loretta had no biological children, but she was a mother to many of the family members with her love, her concern and her guidance that meant a lot to the family. She was preceded in death by her loving parents; her sisters: Louise Young, Josie Bell Johnson, Betty Jean Ricks and Alma V. McKinney; and one brother, Charles Lee. Loretta leaves fond memories that will always be cherished by her sister, Mrs. Carolyn Wright (Louis) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
