Ms. Marie Allen was born on March 10, 1950 in Stillmore, Georgia to the late Mr. K.C. Allen and the late Mrs. Annie Mae Donaldson Allen Woods. She attended the public schools of Emanuel County. Marie accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was baptized by the late Reverend R. Johnson, Pastor of First Baptist Missionary Church of Stillmore. Marie was a lifelong resident of Stillmore, Georgia. She was known for her kindness and generosity to her family and friends. She was a faithful and dedicated employee at Crider Poultry, from which she retired from working after twenty-seven years. On the evening of October 26, 2022, God decided to pick a flower from his earthly garden to place in his heavenly vase. Marie is survived by five loving sisters: Ms. Eddie Dean Allen of Stillmore, Georgia, Mrs. Nanie Glover of Lynn Haven, Florida, Mrs. Mattie Burton of North Carolina, Mrs. Sallie Mae (George) Durden and Mrs. Luetichie (Chris) Ramgoolam of Miami, Florida; two loving brothers: Mr. Floyd Woods (Cephia) of Orlando, Florida and Mr. Johnny Woods of Tennessee; like a sister, Ms. Mary Booker of Somerville, New Jersey; two special great-nieces that she cherished, Miss Sophia James and Miss Brynlee Cobb; a host of loving and caring nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
