Obituary for Quinton Martavious Dekle
Mr. Quinton Martavious Dekle was born in Statesboro, Georgia on November 12, 1992 to Sharlinda Dekle and Tahjih James. Quinton graduated from Metter High School in 2013. Quinton went on to pursue a career in the Army and later went to Brookline College in Arizona where he was currently serving as a fulltime student.
Quinton knew the importance of family and was a very loving son, father, brother, uncle, and cousin. He was always there to brighten the lives of others and was a good friend to others.
He leaves to cherish his joyful memories: a loving and inspiring mother, Ms. Sharlinda Dekle; a devoted father Mr. Tahijih James (Maribel); his loving daughter, Azhane’ Monet Jackson-Barquet; six faithful sisters: Miss Shakira Posley, Miss McKenzie Belle James, Miss Aaliyah James, Miss Melanie Ramirez, Miss Melissa Ramirez, and Miss Kellie Ann Utley; five adoring brothers Mr. Jamie Posley, Mr. Tahijih James Jr., Mr. Nicholas James, Mr. Aaron Waddy, and Mr. Roberto Ramirez; maternal grandparents, Mr. Butler and Mrs. Valeria Dekle; paternal grandparents Mr. Alfonzo and Mrs. Dorothy Tillman; several aunts and uncles: Mrs. Melinda Perry (Michael), Ms. Lakisha Dekle, Ms. Latoya Dekle, Mrs. Mary Jane McRae (Larry), Mrs. Chantail McGee (Chris); a close friend of the family, Mr. Jimmy Byrd; many devoted cousins and friends, all of whom will miss Quinton forever.

No public viewing will take place. The funeral home will be open to accept flowers and sympathy cards on behalf of the family, and to allow family and friends to view the memorial DVD and sign the register book.
