Mr. Oscar Randall (Oscar D) Scott was born October 8, 1958 to the late Mrs. Georgia Mae Scott and Mr. Billy Scott, Sr. He departed this life on August 20, 2020. Oscar D was the next in line to succeed his mother, who passed away in 2009. Mr. Scott was born in Emanuel county, where he attended public schools. He was a lifelong resident of Emanuel county. At an early age, Oscar D attended the St. Philip Baptist Church, along with his mother and siblings. He was the nephew of the late Mr. James Fye and Mrs. Eloise Fye Vining. Oscar D leaves to cherish many loving memories: his father, Mr. Billy Scott, Sr. of Bridgetown, New Jersey; three sisters: Mrs. Debra Ann Taylor and Ms. Rose Scott, both of Swainsboro, Georgia and Mrs. Mozella (Robert) Johnson of Douglas, Georgia; four brothers: Mr. Harold Fye of Florida, Mr. Billy Scott, Jr., and Mr. Patrick (Lois) Scott, both of Swainsboro, Georgia, and Rev. Ricky (Cherry) Scott of Leesburg, Georgia and many other relatives and friends.
