Obituary

Missionary Susie Mae Brown Mincey was born on January 6, 1942 in Bellville, Georgia to the late Mr. Julius and Lucille Brown.  She departed this life on 10/6/2026 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Susie attended school in the Evans County school system graduating as an Evans County Longhorn in 1962. She was employed with Claxton Manufacturing Corporation and a homemaker for many years.  In 1962, Susie was joined in Holy Matrimony to Bishop Eddie J. Mincey.  This union lasted for sixty-four years. She was a faithful member of the Healing Temple Holiness Church/Ministries in Claxton, Georgia from 1962 to 1999. Some of her church volunteer work included serving as co-director of the youth department, and being a willing supporter and participant in many other duties that the church needed.  In 1999, Susie moved to another ministry within the organization.  She served as Missionary and First Lady for twenty-seven years at Healing Temple Ministries in Sandersville, Georgia under the leadership of her husband, Bishop Eddie J. Mincey.

Susie was preceded in death by one son, Eddie J. Mincey (Cheryl) and daughter, Twindell Darlington.

She leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memory: her husband, Bishop Eddie J. Mincey; her son: Pastor Timotheus B. Mincey (Darnell); grandchildren: Jessica Mincey, Brandon Mincey (Chloe), Dallas Mincey, Kiarah Mincey, Noah Mincey, and Taylor Darlington; one great-grandchild: Holly Mincey; siblings: Lucille Brice and Tab Brown (Judy); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
