Mrs. Tesha Laton Wright McCormick was born in Metter, Georgia on February 25, 1969 to Mr. John Henry Williams and Ms. J. Susanne Wright. She attended the public schools of Candler county and was a member of the graduating Class of 1988. After graduating from high school, Tesha attended Swainsboro Technical College. She later married Burnell McCormick and they resided in Gainesville, Georgia. Tesha was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Williams. Mrs. Tesha McCormick passed into eternal rest on June 3, 2021. She leaves the following loved ones behind to cherish many special memories: four daughters: Ms. Takarra Wright, Ms. Deidre Wright, Ms. Lakeisha Wright and Ms. Susanna Wright (Banna), all of Gainesville, Georgia; her mother, Ms. J. Susanne Wright and her stepfather, Mr. Willie Kennedy, both of Cobbtown, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Keshon Wright, Semyiah Wright, Cedric Wright, Shydrea Maddox, Terry Maddox, Tanyhla Maddox, and Destiny Maddox, all of Gainesville, Georgia; one brother, Mr. Darren Williams of Americus, Georgia; four sisters: Ms. Sharon Guest of Reidsville, Georgia, Ms. Shirley Lyons of Macon, Georgia, Ms. Diane Williams of Gadsden, Alabama, and Ms. Cynthia Reese of Statesboro, Georgia; her former husband, Mr. Burnell McCormick of Gainesville, Georgia; a special cousin, Ms. Sharonda McClendon of West Palm Beach, Florida; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
