Mr. Thomas Medlock was born on March 6, 1938, to his late parents, Mr. Willie and Mrs. Louise Medlock. He passed away on October 2, 2024. Thomas was preceded in death by six siblings: Hattie (Richard) Johnson, Flossie Banks, Vivian Buford, James Medlock, Bettye Medlock, and Nancy Medlock. Thomas worked for 35 years as a longshoreman with excellent work history up to the day he retired. He also served as a deacon, worked as Assistant Superintendent of Sunday School, and a steward in the church. He leaves to cherish his memory four siblings: Joyce Medlock Smith, Louis Medlock, Dorothy Medlock, and Nathaniel Medlock. Six children: Mattie (Laurent) Debrossard, Deris Medlock, Stanley (Caroline) Tillman, Cynthia Martin, Dedria Medlock, and William Medlock. He also leaves a special son, Richard Buford, many grandchildren, wonderful great grandchildren; and friends and colleagues who loved him and will miss him.
