Mr. Tommie Lee Stapleton was born on March 19, 1960 to the late Mr. Thomas Stapleton and the late Mrs. Juanita Miller Stapleton. He grew up in Metter, Georgia and attended the Candler county school system. Upon reaching adulthood, he worked in the construction industry. He enjoyed many hobbies, including grilling, listening to "old school music" and watching westerns on television. But his favorite way of relaxing was fishing. Mr. Tommie Lee Stapleton departed this life on September 24th. He leaves the following loved ones behind to cherish many fond memories: four children: Mrs. Franchestia Newkirk-Brooks, Mr. Darryal Newkirk, Mr. Shannon Littles, and Mrs. Theresa Young; his fiance, Ms. Deloris Jones; one brother, Mr. Walter Stapleton; two aunts: Mrs. Linda Oglesby and Mrs. Annie Lois Wright; a special cousin, Mrs. Janet Summerlin; a long-time friend, Ms. Jacqueline Newkirk; four grandchildren; and many loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
