Mr. Willie Earl Butler was born on March 18, 1963 in Candler County, Georgia to the late Mr. Willie James Hobbs and the late Mrs. Rosa L. Hobbs. He attended the public schools in Metter, Georgia, and was preceded in death by: his parents, Willie James Hobbs and Rosa L. Hobbs; his uncle, Bobby Hobbs; his aunt, Wyonnie Mincey; his brother, Isaac Butler; and his sister, Rosetta Hodge. Willie Earl Butler passed into eternal rest on Sunday, May 3, 2020. He leaves the following to cherish fond memories: one sister, Gazette Johnson of Metter, Georgia; three brothers: Sammie Butler, James Butler, and Richard Hobbs, all of Metter, Georgia; seven aunts: Ella Mae Holloway of Metter, Georgia, Leola Phillips of Miami, Florida, Janie Mae Mincey of Metter, Georgia, Mary L. Henry (James) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Voncile Powell of Fairbluff, North Carolina, Mary Ann Brunson (Willie) of Chicago, Illinois, Janice (Willie) Donaldson of Metter, Georgia; four uncles: McArthur Hobbs of Chicago, Illinois, Vernell Hobbs of Atlanta, Georgia, Johnny Hobbs of Augusta, Georgia, and Tony Hobbs of Statesboro, Georgia; and many loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
